Text: Acts 9:26-28

Sometimes, a company which is facing extreme challenges, may engage a turnaround specialist to help it get back on track. Our God is the greatest turnaround specialist. He steps into a situation or a life to redeem it and get it back on track.
There is no life He cannot turnaround, no matter how deep in sin or lost in the world. He can turn a dead sinner to a saint, a hardened heart to a tender heart, a rebel to a faithful follower, a murderer to a reviver. He can change the sexually immoral to a chaste, a liar to a honest person and a fraudster to a truthful person. He can transform an evil heart into a good heart, a corrupt mind into a pure mind and a dirty vessel into a clean one.
Saul of Tarsus is a product of the Turnaround God. He was such a wicked and deadly persecutor that many of the disciples could not believe him after his salvation. It was difficult to believe that such a cruel persecutor will suddenly become a preacher. “When Saul arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to meet with the believers, but they were all afraid of him. They did not believe he had truly become a believer!” (Acts 9:26 NLT).
The AMP says, “…They didn’t trust him one bit.” His conversion was hard to accept but it was true! The Turnaround God specializes in turning around humanly impossible cases. It took Barnabas to persuade the disciples that his salvation was genuine.
Paul (formerly Saul) himself was surprised by His turnaround and accounted it as the work of grace. “…I don’t deserve to be included in that inner circle, as you well know, having spent all those early years trying my best to stamp God’s church right out of existence. But because God was so gracious, so very generous, here I am. …” (1 Cor 15:9-10 MSG). He also described himself thus, “although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.” ‭‭(I Tim 1‬:‭13‬).‬‬ He called himself a chief sinner who was saved by grace.
Friends, no mortal can cause this divine turnaround in a person. The one who was against the cause of Christ then became its advocate! He who did his best to stamp out the church right out of existence then did his best to establish the church everywhere! He who killed the church then sacrificed his life for the church!
Now, can you also, like Paul, share your turnaround testimony? Can your childhood friends, family members, neighbours or colleagues also testify of your turnaround? If not, invite God to give your life a turnaround today.

Prayer points
1. Father, I earnestly plead that, in Your mercy and grace, You will save (mention the names) and cause a turnaround in Jesus name.
2. Father, please, encounter the hardened persecutor of Your church and give them a turnaround in Jesus name.

Today’s declarations
1. God is the incomparable Turnaround Specialist and there is no sinner He cannot transform.
2. God’s grace gave my life a turnaround and the turnaround is visible to all.
