Text: Job 38:12-13
Memory verse:
”as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,“
‭‭II Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Whatever is able to influence an outcome to get a desired result will be traced to power. Anything that forces a contrary thing or negative result to change is the result of power. It takes power to turn poverty into wealth and low estate into exaltation. It takes power to break out of a generational curse into an enviable destiny; from obscurity into limelight; from backwardness to becoming a global star! It takes power to defeat oppositions, darkness, and all evil manipulations. “He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, To set them among princes And make them inherit the throne of glory.“ ‭‭(I Sam‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬). Even basic science tells us that we have to work against the gravitational force to be able to pull a person upwards. You need power to prevail against that force, pulling you downward in order to move upwards.
”“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, …“ ‭‭(Deut‬ ‭8‬:‭18‬). Poverty has a way of holding its victims down and bound. So, it takes a superior and supernatural power to break that bondage and then raise the liberated up. It’s not enough to deliver without restoring. God’s mighty power delivered the Israelites from bondage to poverty and diseases in Egypt and brought them into wealth and health in Canaan! “Then he led the Israelites out; they carried silver and gold, and all of them were healthy and strong” (Psa 105:37 GNT).
Power has to do with the capacity to exert a force. Whether natural, spiritual (all sorts of spirits) or supernatural, whenever a force is applied that causes a change that lined up with one’s desires, it’s called power. Moses demonstrated power, and the Egyptian magicians also did, but Moses overpowered the magicians. God’s power will always prevail over evil.
Never allow evil manipulation of your life, family, and works. According to today’s scriptures, you can edit out any negativity in your everyday life and fill with good things through the power of God. May your life not be deficient in God’s power in Jesus’ name.
