Text: Mark 11:12-14, 20-23
Memory verse:
āFor assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, āBe removed and be cast into the sea,ā and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.ā
āāMarkā¬ ā11ā¬:ā23ā¬ āNKJVā¬ā¬
Only an illegal king, who ascended to the throne through the back door, will bother whether his order will be obeyed or not. A true king has no doubt about his authority and the compliance to it.
Likewise, authority is exercised through faith. You must never entertain any doubt whether satan, situations and circumstances will submit to you. Never base your authority on feelings or manifestations. Know that you have authority and that you are seated with Christ in the highest place of authority, far above principalities and powers. Remember that satan has been defeated and stripped of his authority. Donāt go back to unbelief because you didnāt hear any screaming of the devil or any form of manifestation. Look at Godās authority when He speaks. āā¦ It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.ā (Isa 55ā¬:ā11). This is the authority which you represent.
In our text today, Jesus didnāt bother to wait for any manifestation when He spoke to the fig tree. He never considered whether what He said will happen to the tree or not. He had no doubt whatsoever about His authority and the effect of His declaration. Even while they were returning, He didnāt think of checking if the tree had dried up or not, rather, it was His disciple that paid attention to it and called His attention to it. Jesus used the experience to teach the lesson of faith. āSo Jesus answered and said to them, āHave faith in God.ā āā(Markā¬ ā11ā¬:ā22ā¬).
Donāt doubt your authority because the circumstances didnāt change immediately. Donāt get discouraged, or slip back. Donāt speak unbelief and thus permit the devil to manipulate your word to defeat you. Rather, stand firm in your declarations.
In fact, in my experience in deliverance, I have discovered that a manifestation doesnāt indicate that the devil has left. The devil is deceptive. Thus, to be moved by what you see is to walk in the flesh (2 Cor 5:7). Rather, build your faith on what God says.
Friends, your authority canāt be effective without faith. Build your faith today, exercise your authority in faith and your word will never fall to the ground. Hallelujah!

2. Father, help me to stand firm in faith and never to slip into unbelief after exercising my authority, in Jesusā name.
Todayās declarations
