By faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”
Hebrews 11:3 NKJV
Most often, people limit God in their minds and judge what He can do by what is seen and what has been done in the past. The truth is that our God can do far beyond what we can ask, think, or even imagine. He can create something out of nothing. God’s creative work is not done out of imagination, effort, and process of development or construction, as in human creative work. God creates by speaking into existence what has not existed before.
“Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.” (Gen 1:3).
Did you notice that light was not created through a process of brainstorming, research, and development. Rather, it was brought into existence instantaneously and from nothing that existed before. “Let there be” was the creative force.
Do you know that God has also created you to act like Him, with the same creative power. As a believer, you should not be limited by what exists. You can create your own world, even in the world. God also wants to birth something new, a new idea, a solution, or a concept through you. The world can not know this dimension of God because it does not know Him.
According to our memory text, the creative power of the Word of God is released through faith.
God was not moved nor limited by the disorderliness, confusion, and darkness that were prevailing in the then world. He framed the world by speaking out. Faith is activated by speaking the Word of God (2 Cor 4:13).
God, the Father, Jesus, the Son, and the Holy Spirit work together to bring about any creative work in the world. Jesus is the Word, and by Him, all things were created (John 1:3, 16; Col1:16). Nothing was created without Him. The Holy Spirit is the creative Spirit of God (Gen 1:2). Whenever a thing is commanded into existence by faith through the power of the Word, the Spirit of the Word is released. “You send forth Your Spirit, they are created…” (Psa 104:30).
Friends, you can create your world and call new things into existence through the Word of God in your mouth.
Action points
1. Find a scripture to establish whatever you want to see in existence in your life or domain.
2. Without considering what is on the ground now, begin to call them into existence by faith.
Today’s declarations
1. I activate the creative power of God in me by speaking out God’s Word in faith.
2. I don’t get discouraged or change my declarations when I don’t see immediate results.
