Text: Colossians 1:12-14
Memory verse:
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬

What you believe determines what you become. So many believers have faulty belief about their authority in Christ. Some folks even believe that, as long as we are in the world, we are under the dominion of the devil since he is the god of this world (John 14:30). No! The believer is not under the dominion of satan, except by consent through ignorance.
This is it. God made the first man, Adam, the vice regent over the earth but man ignorantly traded this authority to satan at the garden of Eden. This was what satan meant when He showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and said, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭4‬:‭6)‭. Did you see this? ‘..for this has been delivered to me’. He was speaking of his right over the earth. Yes, satan has legitimate authority over man and the earth through the first Adam – the prince who became the subject!
Thank God that it didn’t end that way! Jesus, the last Adam, has delivered us from the dominion of satan (1 Cor 15:22,45). Satan has no power, control or grip over all those who by faith have been joined to Christ. This is what our memory verse of today means. Though we are still in the world, but not of the world and we are no longer ruled by the kingdom of the world. We have been conveyed to another kingdom with new rulership.
‭‭Friends, as a believer, know that satan has no authority over you and you are not in his kingdom any more. Stand up against him in your life and domain.

Prayer points
1. Father, thank You for delivering me from the dominion, power, control and grip of satan through Christ.
2. I stand against every deception and lies of the enemy to control me in Jesus name.

Today’s declarations
1. I am in the world but not of the world and I am no longer ruled by the god of the world.
2. What the first Adam sold out to satan,Jesus, the last Adam has recovered for me.
