Text: Acts 16:16-18

Tomorrow is what is in the future and what is unknown. Tomorrow is hid in a mystery to the natural mind. It takes the supernatural to enter into tomorrow and to unveil what is in it. Only the Almighty God has full insight about what is hidden in tomorrow. He is the only One who is Omniscient, that is, who is perfect in knowledge, perfect in wisdom and perfect in understanding. No flesh, and nothing created is hidden from Him. “Only I can tell you the future before it even happens…” (Isa 46:10 NLT).
Satan does not have all the knowledge about you or things. He is a created being and not omniscient. He didn’t have perfect knowledge about God’s plan for the redemption of mankind. “which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” (1 Cor 2:8). He had gambled in ancient times, wrongly declaring war against people he believed were the prophesied seed of the woman who would bruise his head. Thus, he orchestrated the death of Abel through Cain; corrupted the generation of Noah; manipulated Pharaoh to establish a decree to kill all the Hebrew newborn males; stirred up Herod to order the killing of the male children who who were under the age of two in Bethlehem and so forth. Likewise, the things concerning you and your destiny which God ordained before the world began for your glory are hidden in a mystery (1 Cor 2:7). These things have been kept there before satan himself was created, so he doesn’t have full knowledge of them.
However, being a fallen angel, he still has some supernatural power and knowledge. He can enter into the realm of the spirit to know some things about the future and about a person, as demonstrated by this fortuneteller in our text. Though she was saying the truth about Paul and Silas, her goal was to deceive and manipulate them and the people and ultimately ruin the great work after their departure. Her business would have been authenticated if Paul had not discerned the many believers, being deceived and held captive would have patronized her.
Friends, not everyone who reveals some truth about you and your tomorrow speaks by the Spirit of God. May the Lord give you discernment. Every attempt of the enemy to enter into your tomorrow and to waste your harvest will fail in Jesus’ name.

Prayer points
1. Father, please, give me the spirit of discernment and deliver me from every deception of the enemy, in Jesus’ name.
2. O Lord, let the enemies’ plan to enter into my future and waste my harvest fail, in Jesus’ name.

1. I don’t accept every revelation only by the truth it reveals but also by the spirit behind it.
