Text: Exodus 1:8-17
Memory verse:
“… And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.” ‭‭(Revelation ‬ ‭12‬:‭4‬).

Most experiences in the real life have spiritual replicas. In fact, to understand spiritual warfare strategies, you will have to understand physical warfare, especially in the Bible days. One way to explain spiritual warfare is by comparing it to physical war.
Spiritual warfare is to engage in a spiritual war against the invisible forces of darkness, including satan with his arrays of demons and evil forces
. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,” ‭‭(II Cor‬ ‭10‬:‭4‬)‬‬.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” ‭‭(Eph‬ ‭6‬:‭12).
The reason why most people don’t take spiritual warfare seriously is that, unlike physical warfare, most often you will not see your opponent physically. But does their ignorance about the existence of satan and his work make them none existent or incapacitate them? Even if you don’t accept their existence, you can’t deny their evil works.
In our text today, Pharaoh’s cruelty to the children of Israel and his strategy to stop their progress is a picture of satan’s invisible attack against God’s covenant children.
“And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
‭‭(Rev 12‬:‭17‬).
Satan’s goal is to attack your testimony at the time of delivery. Thus, he engages and positions his invisible midwives at the delivery to ‘kill’ your testimonies during delivery.
“… And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.” ‭‭(Rev‬ ‭12‬:‭4‬).
Do you see that? He was just waiting for the child to be born. So, if satan can’t stop you from conceiving, he will work to stop you at the time of delivery. I pray that he will fail in your life every time in Jesus name.
Friends, don’t be ignorant of the devices of the evil one. Know that God hasn’t brought you to the ninth month to leave you defenseless. But God wants you to violently resist the devil and to stop the satanic midwives assigned to stop your testimonies in this ninth month.

Prayer points
1. Let all the wasters assigned to waste my testimonies be wasted now in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Let all satanic midwives mandated to ‘kill’ my long awaited joy be dead now in Jesus name.

Today’s declarations
1. I am not ignorant of the devices of the devil, so I stand against him regularly.
2. I know that the spiritual is higher than the physical so I deal with the spiritual root before the physical.
