Text: John 12:1-11
Memory verse:
“I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭118‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There are testimonies that give sleepless nights to the devil and his agents. These kind of testimonies cause confusion and trouble in hell, as many satanic captives are loosed, healed and recovered. May the Lord give you that kind of testimony in September in Jesus name.
According to our text today, we see how the people moved from Jerusalem, where they had come to partake in the Passover feast, to a nearby town, called Bethany, to see Jesus and Lazarus, when they heard that they were there. They had heard about the testimony of Lazarus, who was raised from the dead after four days. It was an uncommon testimony. This testimony changed a lot of narratives. Lazarus became a living message that, with God, there is no hopelessness or impossibility. His life spoke louder than a cathedral sermon. It was an incredible but an undeniable testimony. Lazarus’ life called the doctrine of the chief priests, who were the Sadducees, to question. This sect did not believe in the resurrection of the dead. They had taught this doctrine for years and had followers. Lazarus therefore became a threat to them. They were confronted with a clearly living Lazarus and felt their foundation of power was slipping away.
Even though, the Bible has no record of any word spoken by Lazarus, yet his walk spoke louder than the words of the chief priests. His walk was a far stronger evidence to prove the sonship of Jesus than the multitude of words of the Sadducees that denied it. It was a silent but powerful testimony. May the Lord give you a testimony that will silence all arguments in Jesus name.
Lazarus’ testimony had caused great losses to the Jewish religious system as many had believed in Christ. “But the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also, because on account of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus.”
‭‭(John‬ ‭12‬:‭10‬-‭11‬). He became an enemy to them and the leaders therefore, plotted to get rid of him. When your testimony causes trouble for hell, you will become the devil’s target. You can see why you are often persecuted and attacked. You can see why your presence and prosperity attract some peoples’ anger and hatred for you. But, I pray for you, that as they could not kill Lazarus, so shall they fail concerning you. No one will be able to silence or stop your testimony in Jesus name. May your testimony continue to depopulate hell and populate heaven in Jesus name.

Prayer points
1. Father, please give me a testimony that will preach more than thousands of words in Jesus name.
2. Father, please, give me a testimony that will cause people to know You as the living God in Jesus name.

Today’s declarations
1. Satan is a liar, for I will not die but live to declare the works of God.
2. My existence and testimony remain threats to the kingdom of satan and a plus to the kingdom of God.
