“By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.”
Hebrews 11:11 NKJV
To live the supernatural and the uncommon life in the natural world, you need to override the natural laws that govern everyone. For example, the law of cell degeneration states that as cells age, they gradually lose their ability to function efficiently, leading to tissue deterioration, organ decline, and ultimately, aging and death. When this natural law was overridden, aging was reversed for Moses. Thus, he lived a supernatural life instead of the common trend of degeneration (Deut 34:7).
Natural laws govern the physical realm, but spiritual laws govern the spiritual realm. However, spiritual laws are superior to the natural laws and can override them. Faith operates spiritual laws and connects you to God’s supernatural power, which is able to override any natural and human limitations.
By faith Sarah conceived and bore a child when “she was past the age” and Abraham became a father when his body was considered “as good as dead” (Heb 11:11-12). In other words, they had children when it was judged impossible medically and scientifically.
Do you know that you can set aside that unpleasant medical report? Faith will connect you to the supernatural power. Having seen different specialists, had several medical tests and used different medications, the wife of one of our missionaries who had been barren for several years was told that her ovary could not produce egg and so, no pregnancy was possible. They didn’t deny the results, but they resolved to stretch their faith further, to completely depend on God. They didn’t give it any thought anymore, but they concentrated on their kingdom assignment. About a year later, and contrary to the medical conclusions, she became pregnant and delivered a baby!
What about the woman with the issue of blood? By faith, she accessed the supernatural power to end her twelve years of chronic hemorrhage after all medical solutions failed! Jesus said to her, “…your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”” (Mark 5:34).
Friends, faith will give you access into the supernatural realm, but unbelief or doubt will deny you!
Prayer points
1. I renounce the spirit of unbelief and doubt, and I cast them out of my heart, in Jesus’ name.
2. Father, I receive the Spirit of faith, and I grow in faith, in Jesus’ name.
Today’s declarations
1. God has given me the Spirit of faith, so I reject the spirit of unbelief and doubt.
2. Natural laws that are against my well-being are suspended as I access God’s supernatural power through my faith.
