FAITH GIVES THANKS IN ADVANCE 4

FAITH GIVES THANKS IN ADVANCE 4

Text: John 11:38-44
Memory verse:
“Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭41‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I prophesy to you who believe, that as you give advance praise to God, especially during this season, God will reverse and restore everything that you lost in the course of the year or in the past years. What should be yours that the enemy took away will come back to you. Your lost time and opportunities will be restored. He will restore the lost relationship and dream. It doesn’t matter how hopeless the losses were, you will recover and recover all. He will reverse finances and health conditions that were declining and the business that was sluggish. Even an unpleasant legal situation shall be reversed. AMEN!
Now, let’s reconsider this often overlooked passage. Pause and read the memory text (John‬ ‭11‬:‭41). Pay attention to the tense used here. The word, “heard” is a past tense. Firstly, He was not thanking God in advance for what was about to take place but for what had already taken place. He said He was grateful He had been heard.
Although, the scripture didn’t state when exactly He offered that prayer referred to here. It could either be when the news of the illness of Lazarus first reached Him or while He was with Mary and Martha. Whichever, it’s clear that He didn’t offer it at that scene but before that moment. The point is that He had unshaken confidence that His Father heard Him the first time He prayed.
However, between the time of His first prayer and the resurrection of Lazarus was such a dark period. Lazarus was still dead, wrapped and lying in the tomb, yet Jesus gave thanks that He had been heard! Hallelujah! He thanked His Father before the answer came. He gave thanks when He didn’t see any sign of anything happening.
Friends, do you have a case that still looks unchanged and dead, even after you have prayed about it? Is it your health, finance, business, education, family, relationship, or even your dream? Does it seem like an impossible case and not worth believing for a change anymore? Dare to trust the faithfulness of your Heavenly Father like Jesus did and boldly pray like He did. Don’t quit thanking God for having answered you the first time you prayed and in advance for bringing the answer into manifestation.

Prayer points
1. Father, I thank You that You have heard me and I give you thanks in advance that You have a miracle coming for me.
2. Father, I thank You in advance that every promise that You have spoken over me and every good prophecy that Your servants have spoken over my life are coming to pass, in Jesus’ name.

Today’s declarations
1. I will both thank God for having heard me when I first prayed and in advance for bringing the answer into manifestation.
2. I may not see a way now, but as I thank God in advance, God will come through for me.
