Text: 2 Chronicles 25:5-10

“Then Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall we do about the hundred talents which I have given to the troops of Israel?” And the man of God answered, “The Lord is able to give you much more than this.””

God can turn your ‘not enough’ into more than enough with just one act of favour. God can do much more than you pray, plan, and imagine.
A brother who was living from hand to mouth recently experienced the much more dimension of the Almighty. He was known in the private school where his children attended as one of the parents who was always the first to complain once there was any increase in the school fees. Most times, he paid the school fees in installments, and sometimes, he even appealed for extension to be able to complete the payment. Later, he withdrew his children to a school with lower fees because of his financial situation. However, the El-Shaddai, the more-than-enough, visited him and suddenly changed his financial condition. So, he returned his younger children to the same private school where he once withdrew them from and pays their fees at once without raising any question and even sponsored the older one in one of the most expensive private universities. His family now travels abroad on holidays. He experienced God beyond what he asked for, dreamt about, or even imagined. The turnaround was faster than he ever conceived!
According to our text, having been warned by a man of God not to proceed in his earlier plans to hire the army of Israel, Amaziah, the king of Judah then asked if he would be able to recover the money he had already paid for the hire. The man of God responded, “…The Lord is able to give you much more than this.” ‭‭(II Chro‬ ‭25‬:‭9‬).
When God turns to you, He restores, brings back, and makes up for your lost opportunities (Joel 2:25). He compensates and settles you for your years of suffering (1 Pet 5:10). Just one act of favour He initiates for you is enough to change your story to glory. “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.” ‭‭(Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭26‬). When your financial state changes, nobody will despise you again.
Friends, money is still satan’s bait to draw believers back to the world today. Beware of it. God, not satan, controls the economy of heaven and earth. Follow His Word and invest in His kingdom, and He will give you much more than your paycheck, savings, or status can ever give you!Hallelujah!

Prayer points
1. Father, as I surrender all, turn my back on the world and follow You, give me much more than I have lost and the world can ever give me, in Jesus’ name.
2. Father, initiate for me one act of favour to end my struggles and turn my financial life from ‘not enough’ to ‘more than enough’, in Jesus’ name.

Today’s declarations
1. God is restoring what I lost to debt, mistakes, crisis, or foolishness. I will eat in plenty and praise the name of the Lord who has dealt wondrously with me. I will never be ashamed again.
2. I won’t fall to satan’s bait to return me to the world through money. As I walk in faith, obey God’s Word, and invest in God’s unseen economy, He gives me much more than I have lost or the world can ever give me.
