Text: 1 Corinthians 2:6 – 12

”But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”“

There is no doubt that God has great plans for your tomorrow. In fact, He wants your tomorrow to be greater than today and the past. Jeremiah 29:11 says, ”For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.“ (‬NLT‬‬). Did you see this? It means it doesn’t matter how today looks like, God has something better for you in your tomorrow. The Good News Bible translation puts it this way, “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.”
It doesn’t also matter what the devil did in your life today. It doesn’t matter the pain you experienced in the past; it doesn’t matter the trouble and the setback, God has a surprise for the devil in your tomorrow. He will soon be disappointed. The devil thinks it is over for you and that you can’t get out of the situation, but God will soon bring out the shocker card. God is keeping the plans secret from him. God said, “I alone know the plans I have for you..”. Glory!
Do you remember that God did the same thing for satan during the suffering of Jesus. He thought that he had put our Lord in a cage. He thought that he got Jesus when Pilate finally condemned Him to death on the cross. He thought it was over for Him when it appeared that God didn’t answer Him as He cried out on the cross ( Matt 27:46). He thought he had achieved his goal when the Lord’s body was buried! He didn’t have any idea of the plan that God had for Jesus. It was a secret plan to glorify Him. Look at the shocker here (I Cor‬ ‭2‬:‭7‬-‭8‬). God hid it in such a way that “…none of the rulers of this age knew…” Wow!
This is why you must never allow your present situation to cause you to lose hope. Rather, you must look forward with a high expectation for your tomorrow. The devil is a liar. He doesn’t know anything about what God has in stock for you. He has no idea about the plans to prosper you. Satan thinks that he has killed your dreams and that your expectations can never be realized but He doesn’t know that God has set out plans to fulfill your expectations and to bring about the future you hope for.
Friends, don’t give up, for your expectations will come through, and your tomorrow will be greater than today. Hallelujah!

1. Father, I thank You for the great plans You have for my tomorrow and the plans You have to bring about the future I hope for.
2. Father, let me never lose hope or give up on You, in Jesus’ name.

1. Satan doesn’t have the final say over my case because he doesn’t have any idea of the plans of God for me.
2. I may not see it now, but I know that God has set out plans to bring about the future I hope for.
