Text: Psalm 82:5-7

“The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11‬:‭9‬ ‭

I was once a victim of ignorance. Even though I had known the Lord at an early age, loved Him and served Him but I didn’t enjoy all the benefits of salvation. I suffered ill health for many years. I cannot remember if I ever had any three months when I didn’t break down. Considering that sin could have been responsible, I made confession of sins a routine, yet all these didn’t make any difference.
“They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness…” ‭‭(Psa‬ ‭82‬:‭5‬)
Ignorance will put a man in darkness. Darkness, not in the sense of day and light, but the dominion of satan (Col 1:13). It is the light of the revelation of God’s word that overcomes darkness and sets it’s captives free. Your destiny is rooted in knowledge. Insight into God’s word is your greatest asset in the journey of destiny.
“So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” ‭‭(Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭32‬)
Everything you will possibly need in your destiny journey will only be delivered to you through the channel of the word. The word delivers your inheritance in God. Money will finish over time but the word will connect you to an inexhaustible inheritance. Insight into the word remains the best gift and inheritance you can ever give to someone. That was what delivered me from the dominion of darkness and I am still drawing from it till now.
Proverbs 11:9 shows that it is true that a man can be righteous and still be under captivity. And until the righteous gains spiritual insight, he remains under siege. It is the truth that one knows which sets free (John 8:32).
Friends, your exploits in life and in the kingdom is a function of your knowledge (Dan 11:32). You can only exercise authority to the degree of what you know about God. Authority is not about your stature, position or age in Christ but what you know.

Prayer points
1. Father, please, create in me the hunger to know Your word in Jesus name.
2. Father, please, give me light and let my inheritance be delivered to me through Your word in Jesus name.

Today’s declarations
1. It is the word of God that delivers my inexhaustible inheritance.
2. Darkness can’t overpower me as long as I get light through the word.
