Text: Isaiah 60:1-3
“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
You cannot arise from the ground until your light comes and you cannot shine until you arise. You cannot see the light and refuse to arise. The reason why people don’t arise is simply because they haven’t seen the light. Darkness has the power to paralyze a man. “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1). Bartimeaus saw the Light of the world and refused to be held down anymore. Not even the appeal of his colleagues could persuade him to maintain his status quo. Insight into the word of God gives light that overpowers the darkness and delivers its captives.
Until your light breaks forth in revelation, your inheritance cannot be released.
“Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, …”
(Isa 58:8). Did you notice the order? It means, your healing responds to the degree of the light that you have. You can’t experience divine healing without having light. And the more light you have, the more divine healing you will experience. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (III John 1:2)
The problem is the inability to sit down to search the scriptures. Most believers prefer the easy and cheap approach which produces incomplete and insufficient knowledge of the truth. David prayed, “Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.” (Psa 119:18). In Jeremiah, God said, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know”. (Jeremiah 33:3). This also has to do with the eyes, seeing etc
Friends, arise, shine for your light has come and the glory is the result.
1.Father, please let the glory of my life break forth out of darkness in Jesus name.
2.Father, please let my healing break forth as my light of revelation also increases in Jesus name.
1. Until my light breaks forth as in revelation, my inheritance cannot be released.
2. Inability to sit down and search the scriptures is the problem of this generation.
