LORD, MANIFEST YOUR GLORY

LORD, MANIFEST YOUR GLORY

Text: John 2:5-11
Memory verse:
“This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬

In the ancient times, among the Jews, guests had the right to sue organizers of a wedding feast for not providing water and wine at the ceremony. You can just imagine the shame, disgrace& embarrassment, which the families were about to face when the wine suddenly finished at the middle of the reception!
It was great that God’s Glory was bodily present at the ceremony. This is why I see great wisdom in the invitation of Jesus to the feast.
God’s glory is His splendor, His majesty, loveliness, power and perfections. According to our memory text, Jesus therefore manifested His glory, as God. The whole essence of miracles is to manifest the glory of God. God sees every problem as an opportunity to manifest His glory. Anyone who desires to show forth His glory and who prays for it to be manifest will never experience the scarcity of miracles. Jesus is the expression of God’s glory. “The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God.” (Heb 1‬:‭3 NLT‬). Whenever you invite God’s glory, you also invite miracles. Glory can’t stand shame of any form but knocks it out. So Jesus stopped the impending shame of lack of wine at the wedding.
As you earnestly seek for God’s glory, shame and disgrace will be far away from you. This month marks the beginning of miracles and wonders in your life, family and ministry in Jesus name.

Prayer points
1. Father, manifest Your glory in my life, family and situation in Jesus name.
2. Father, let Your glory knock out any impending shame and embarrassment to my life in Jesus name.

Today’s declarations
1. I am excited because every of my challenge is an opportunity for God to manifest His glory.
2. Miracles are foreign to those who desire self-glory and to whom God’s glory has no meaning.
