‭‭Acts‬ ‭17‬:‭26‬

Blood is a unique living substance and not like any other fluid in the body such as tears, saliva, intestinal fluids etc. All these other fluids are merely organic compounds, unlike blood which is actually liquid, living tissue. When the blood supply is cut off, the flesh dies. That is, there is life in the blood. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood,..’” (‭‭Lev ‭17‬:‭11‬).
Every human being was made from a common origin and from one bloodline and one common ancestor, that is, the first Adam or the first man. “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, …” ‭‭(Acts‬ ‭17‬:‭26‬). Every man’s DNA goes back to Adam and Eve. For Eve is called the mother of all living (Gen 3:20). That is why there should be no basis for racial discrimination because we all have the same bloodline, be it black or white.
Adam’s transgression brought a defect to man’s initial pure blood and thus, the need for God to redeem man. Like Adam’s pure blood at the beginning, Jesus’ blood was pure blood and was derived from heaven and not from the defected blood of Adam. Jesus had a body like you and I but had a different bloodline, not from the human race. This is because, although Mary produced the egg but the egg wasn’t fertilized by human sperm, to be infected with sin and become helpless to redeem man. Rather, it was fertilized by the Word through the Holy Spirit (John 1:14). A sinner can’t redeem a sinner and so we have been redeemed with pure blood, the precious blood of Jesus and have pure blood, not blood infected with sin running through our veins. Hallelujah!

Prayer points
1. Father, thank You for redeeming me from the bloodline of sin and death.
2. Father, thank You for redeeming me from sickness and death through the pure blood of Jesus in Jesus name.

Today’s declarations

1. I was redeemed with pure blood and pure blood flows through my veins.
2. Jesus had a human body but God’s blood, pure blood in Him, so He was qualified to redeem me.
