Text: Romans 8:1 – 4

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”

Romans 8:2 NKJV

In a courtroom, emotions don’t decide the verdict, but legal documents do. Opinions may be loud, accusations may be many, media coverage may be intense, and public opinions may be strong, but once a binding agreement is presented, the judge must honour it.

Covenant is heaven’s legal document. When covenant is presented, accusations lose authority. The blood of the covenant speaks louder and stronger than any other voice (Heb‬ ‭12‬:‭24‬). Through the Communion, you can silence every accusing voices.

Covenant outranks systems, laws, and delays. The covenant sealed by the blood of Jesus operates the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which is far higher in authority than any other law. Just like an ambulance ignores traffic lights, not because rules don’t exist, but because higher authority is at work. For example, through partaking in the Communion, you can override the law of sickness and disease, the law of sin and death, the law of degeneration and and every negative law or laws which are not in alignment with your wellbeing, by the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus  ‭‭(Rom‬ ‭8‬:‭2‬). Have you ever wondered why the Israelites never grew feeble throughout their forty years wilderness sojourn? “…And there was none feeble among His tribes.” (Psa 105:37). None was sick, and none of the senior citizens used a walking stick among the 6 million people! Their body organs did not follow the usual trend – no degenerative diseases! What medical reasoning would justify this? Nothing but an override by a higher law!

Covenant is also heaven’s master password. Have you had an experience where a system locked you out, like when your bank account was blocked? You didn’t have access to your account anymore until a system administrator in the bank overrode the former password and then restored your access. Likewise, the Communion is a reminder that the blood-sealed covenant has restored everything we lost through sin or through the wickedness of the wicked. This is what redemption means (Col 1:14).

Friends, don’t trivialize the grace-given privilege to override anything that is contrary to your destiny and wellbeing through the Communion.

1. By the power of the speaking blood, I override generational patterns, negative history, and inherited limitations in my life now, in Jesus’ name.

2. By the blood of Jesus, let every negative verdict, diagnosis, and report be overruled by covenant authority as I partake in the Communion, in Jesus’ name.

1. As I partake in the communion, heaven steps into my situation and reset the narrative; covenant promises are enforced.

2. Covenant is working for me; The Living Lamb overrides every delay, resistance, and obstruction standing against my destiny.
