Text: Psalm 114:1-8
Memory verse:
“Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob,”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭114‬:‭7‬

Every next level requires an examination to pass. You don’t move to the next class without sitting for an examination. I remember those years as an undergraduate, how our colleagues who were medical students dreaded the second MBBS examination to cross to the clinical. They called it the ‘mighty MBBS’. Examinations stand as mountains to move and rivers to dry.
In our text today, as Israel got out of about 430 years of stagnancy and oppression in Egypt, Judah became the leading and most powerful tribe. Psalm 114:2 says “Judah became His sanctuary, and Israel His dominion.” (Psa‬ ‭114‬:‭2‬). Remember that Judah means ‘Praise’. So, Praise became God’s indwelling presence, His home and sacred place. God dwells in sincere and faith-filled praise. ‭‭(Psa‬ ‭22‬:‭3). Israel is His dominion, that is, the place of God’s rule. God has dominion over Israel as a whole but His sanctuary is in Judah. Thus, praise provides a seat for God to rule and wherever God dwells, He dominates. The chain effect of His presence and dominion can be seen in the disappearance of the hurdles between Israel and her next level.
As you sincerely praise God within these seven days of the year, I see all barriers between you and your next level suddenly disappear in Jesus name.

1. Father, You are the unstoppable, unconquerable, unbeatable, unquestionable, unchallengeable, unrestrainable and unlimitable God.
2. Thank You Father for going ahead of me into year 2023 to clear every long standing stagnation and the hurdles between me and my next level in Jesus name.

Today’s declarations

1.Praise provides a throne for God and where He sits, He rules; where He dwells, He dominates.
2.Praise paves a way for me to the next level and makes me unstoppable.
