PROPHESY OVER YOUR LIFE

PROPHESY OVER YOUR LIFE

Text: 1 Corinthians 12:7-11

Memory text
“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The gift of prophecy builds up, encourages, comforts, and stirs us up but does not condemn. The words spoken under this prophetic gift are usually consistent with what God said in His Word.
The gift of prophecy is so important that Paul desired that everyone should prophesy. “I wish you could all speak in tongues, but even more, I wish you could all prophesy. …” (1 Cor 14:5 NLT).
Every believer, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, can prophesy. This is another dimension of the prophetic utterance. It is different from the operation of the prophet. Everyone who prophesies is not necessarily a prophet. The utterance of a prophet has to do with the revelation of the future. The gift of prophecy, on the other hand, has nothing to do with the future. In this case, one speaks by faith as one is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Your utterance is built on the measure of your faith and not on revelation of the future, like one operating in the office of a prophet. “…. if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;” (Rom 12:6).
You can also be your own prophet when you are inspired to speak by faith over your own life and concerns. It’s calling forth the things written in the Word about yourself. It’s acting like gods in the world by declaring the future before it happens and announcing the outcomes long before they show up, in accordance with God’s Word (‭‭Isa‬ ‭46‬:‭10‬).
God also confirms your words when you operate in this dimension of the prophetic. He backs up your words when you, in faith, declare your outcomes before they ever happen. You enter into partnership with God when you speak this way.
What are the things written in the Word of God concerning you and your future? You have a great privilege to prophesy into your new month from this first day. For example, you can prophesy thus, “I witness unprecedented favour, and I triumph gloriously in every battle in the month of March.”
Friends, don’t wait to see the outcomes at the end. Rather, prophesy into your future and announce your outcomes before the end, and God will bring them to pass. Hallelujah!

‭‭Action points for the month
1. Spend time in praise and worship, in studying and staying under inspired teachings to boost your faith and to be inspired.
2. Lavishly prophesy over yourself, your loved ones, and your concerns.

Today’s declarations
1. When I am under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, I prophesy over my life and all that is mine.
2. I prophesy into my future according to the measure of my faith and not according to the revelation of the future.
