Text: Psalm 67:5-7

“For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim, He will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon— That He may do His work, His awesome work, And bring to pass His act, His unusual act.” Isaiah‬ ‭28‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Unusual is something that does not commonly happen. It is remarkable in that it stands out and you don’t see such every day. The opposite is simply something that is usual, common, and familiar. This is the goal of the devil, that is, to keep you caged to the regular things. The world system is designed to keep you restrained, restricted, and confined. It tells you what kind of life you can live, just because of your age, status, academic level , or gender. That is why you have something like age bracket, status, academic level, and all sorts in most application forms. The world puts you in a box, and that’s why you hear people say, “Think beyond the box”. That means there is a box of expectation that the world has also put us, something they can come in terms with. The world wants to cage us spiritually, financially, and economically. It says, “This is the level that you can get to. This is what you can do. This is how far you can reach because of your academic level. This is how much you can earn and so forth.” The impact of this upon us is that, most often, we also unconsciously cage ourselves into a defined structure that we can not live beyond. We seem to create an invisible cage and an invisible wall for ourselves in our minds. This is a lie of the devil to keep us from fulfilling our destiny.
However, this is what God says, “For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim, He will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon— That He may do His work, His awesome work, And bring to pass His act, His unusual act.” ‭‭(Isa 28‬:‭21‬)‬‬.
God is about to do in your life, not just the regular things but something that will surprise you and the people around you. Your life, family, business, academics, health, and finance will experience, not just the usual happenings but the unusual; not the natural but the supernatural; not the ordinary but the extraordinary! God’s fearsome blessings will dumbfound you and everyone around you. “Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him” (Psa 67:7 NLT). Your new level will be like a dream! He will not only restore your losses, but you will eat in plenty and praise the Lord who has dealt wondrously with you (Joel 2:25-26).
Friends, God is set to do His strange and awesome works in your life during this season. You will be marked with His unusual blessings.

Prayer points
1. Father, please surprise me with your unusual blessings during this season in Jesus’ name.
2. Father, I have remained in this usual level for so long, please, bless me now unusually, that the whole world will fear You in Jesus’ name.

1. God does unusual acts in my life to break the box and the cage that the world has placed me.
2. The earth is my territory, so I won’t permit anyone or anything to cage me.
