MESSAGE
Content: Hallelujah! C’mon, lift your hands and just worship Him. We serve an awesome God. Celebrate his goodness this morning. LORD, we celebrate your goodness. The LORD of all soul. The reason why we are living. Life is a privilege; and not a right. LORD, I thank you for life. Thank you for good health. Thank you for strength. Thank you for your favour. If God is good to you; you will not be quiet. Worships. Hallelujah! Songs of worship. LORD, we celebrate your goodness this morning. C’mon raise up your voice. Let the house of THF says the LORD is good and His mercy endures forever. Let someone shout a big Hallelujah! Can you greet about seven people around you this morning and say: You are welcome to church this morning! Song: God is good all the time! I will like you to say this: Devil, you are big liar. God is still good to me! The devil likes to want us say otherwise. He wants Adam to see God in different perspective that God is not good. Can you still walk up to three persons and say: God is still good to me. Take your Bible again and let make the declaration; Sat after me: This is the Bible, the word of God. I believe every word of God in this Bible. I submit myself to the instruction of this Bible and I receive light, as I listen to the word of God this morning. And the people of God say: Amen!
One of the things you should not take lightly, that we are going to be talking about in more details later, is your conscience. If you are careless with your conscience; I’m telling you that you won’t know when you will meet yourself in the pit of destruction if you continue in this path. If you reject the voice of your conscience; your life is in danger. The interesting thing is that: God gave everyone a conscience. If you have been going through rhe devotional; then you must have seen the difference between the conscience of an unbeliever and a Christian. You may hide from everyone; but you can’t hide from your conscience. You may bribe against the police, government, and the highest court in the world; but you can’t bribe or appeal against your conscience. Your conscience tells you what pleases God and what does not please him. One of the problems of couple today is that most people are working against your conscience, but they can’t silent their conscience. If you are a teacher and a member of THF and you are engaging in examination malpractice. I tell you: You have a higher judgement than the outsiders. Then, what rights have you to complain about senators and people in government stealing money. Run away from it! If you join them; you are only ruining your life and that of your children! Parents, teachers, please don’t destroy the lives of these children. That kind of result will not pass the gate righteousness! Don’t try to bribe God, and don’t justify yourself by saying: If God should count iniquities; who wil stand? Nobody knows when the death is lurking at the door. Make things right! I’m bothered about our children, friends. I’m bothered about the Christians that I know. I’m not bothered about the unbelievers that I don’t know. Some will say: I’m only helping somebody. If you are only helping somebody; then why do you hide? Why will you run away from invigilators. Examination malpractice is a fraud and a lie. No liar or fraudster will inherit the kingdom of God. O LORD, sanctify your church! If the salt is no longer giving taste to the world; then why are we here? Father LORD, may we not lose our relevance in Jesus name! Even if I don’t preach again; that’s a message already. But let’s quickly look at something. Jehovah Shalom. Jehovah Rapha! Some people are not sick in the body, but they are sick in their mind. He restores my soul! The burdens of life can make the soul of some people sick.
Righteousness simply means to be morally, ethically, virtuously, and upstanding. Interestingly, there is no way any man can meet this standard before Gpd. The bible says all our righteousness are like filthy rags before God. Jeremiah 23 verse 6. The LORD, he is our righteousness. Because your righteousness is not acceptable before God. Your righteousness cannot fit in to God’s standard. Rock of ages; cleft for me! There is nothing you can ever do that can ever meet the demand of God. So, man has been struggling and struggling. Hebrews 4:14-15. That is what we call imputed righteousness. God imputed righteousness to you and me. You receive it by faith; not by words. Romans 5: 9. We have been justified by His blood. Read verse 1-2: Therefore, having been justified by faith… It is by faith that we have been justified. Romans 3: 22. That righteousness is received, not by words, but by faith. Could my tears forever flow? Never! None of these can meet your demand, O LORD! Anytime you are coming to the presence of the LORD, come with His own imputed righteousness; not your own. Isaiah 54: 17. And their righteousness is what?! Their righteousness is from me, says the LORD. When you come to the presence of the LORD; come with the righteousness of the LORD Jesus Christ – The man that was tempted in all ways and remains standing. There is imputed righteousness and there is impacted righteousness. You can say you are an engineer and not practice it. A teacher teaches. A doctor practices medicine. So, if you say you are righteous in Christ and you still practice sinfulness; then there is a problem. A righteous practice righteousness. I John 3: 9 (GNT). Say again: I don’t make a practice of Sin. I am a righteousness of God. So, I practice righteousness. The LORD, our righteousness. Jeremiah 23: 3 says: The LORD, our righteousness. Romans 8: 1. The LORD, our righteousness. Romans 5: 17. A very instructive scripture which you must not miss. Romans 5: 17. Say it after me: Righteousness is a gift! God wants you to reign in life. To be in charge. To be in control of germs and parasites. To be in control of situations. Poverty does not reign in your life. You need two things: Grace and Righteousness. If you have abundance of these two; you shall reign in life. Servants are riding on horses, but princes are trekking on ground! So many people have not yet known how to reign in life because they are still living in the guilt of the past. Jesus Christ told that woman: Go and sin no more! Don’t look at your past any longer. Christ has set you free! Stand in the righteousness of Christ through faith! Romans 2: 8-9. Imputed righteousness! Satan will bow because he knows what you are saying. When you are conscious of your gift of righteousness; you will always live in righteousness. But when you are conscious of the guilt of sin; you will always fall into sin. Declaration of righteousness in Christ. May you not be a casualty in the battle of life! Ephesians 6: 11-14. Galatians 6: 17. Paul was talking about the mark of His righteousness in this place. I’m going to stop here this morning. I’m not going to mention the other one this morning. There are so many believers this morning that are still living in their righteousness. That is why things have been so difficult for them. Continue to live in His righteousness. The conscious of this is the strength in you!
