Text: Matthew 13:24-25

”while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.“ II Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭18 NKJV

The universe is governed by laws, including spiritual and physical or natural laws. However, the spiritual laws have supremacy over physical laws. This knowledge is basic in understanding spiritual warfare and in living a life of dominion in this world.
Let’s learn some lessons from our memory text. Firstly, you must look beyond the physical or visible things. Most believers are unaware or have just a little idea of the unseen realm, and thus, they build their lives on the physical realm. Frustration is usually the experience of such.
Secondly, you need to be equipped with spiritual insight to be able to look at the invisible. This scripture confirms the existence and the reality of the unseen realm. If not, how can someone look at the unseen? (2 Kings 6:17).
Thirdly, spiritual intelligence is basic in warfare. This is the ability to be able to acquire information about the unseen realm or the enemy’s operations, strategies, and plans that are not open in the natural realm. Your ability to see into the unseen realm will determine your level of spiritual intelligence. That was the secret of the prophets of old. By their spiritual intelligence, they were able to see beyond the ordinary eyes. As soon as the people of Jericho told prophet Elisha about the mystery of their city, he went straight to the source of the water (2 Kings 2:19-21).
Fourthly, the physical is temporal. That is, it’s liable to change and not reliable. It is limited in time and life. No one’s destiny is secure or sustainable without first establishing it in the invisible. Such life or destiny is unprotected and open to witchcraft manipulation, which they do by gaining entrance into their victim’s exposed spiritual atmosphere and manipulating it to control its outcome. According to our text, the enemy gained entrance when “men slept”, that is, when unprotected and exposed, and thus controlled their outcome. The enemy then planted tares among the wheat.
Friends, don’t concentrate on building your physical life without protecting your spiritual atmosphere. Pay attention to your unseen realms today.

1. Father, open my spiritual eyes and give me access into the realms of the unseen, in Jesus’ name.
2. Let the evil plantation planted into my spiritual atmosphere during my time of ignorance catch fire now, in Jesus’ name.
