Text: 2 Kings 2:13-15
Memory verse:
“It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” Isaiah 10:27

Power is measured by the amount of work done per time and work can be said to be done when the position of an object has changed in the positive.
Although you can’t see power, yet you can measure it by the work it does.
So it is with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. You can’t see the anointing, yet you can mark its presence by it’s work. According to our text today, the sons of the prophets knew that Elisha had received the double portion of the anointing of Elijah when they saw the result of the anointing. By the anointing, Elisha parted river Jordan. The anointing produced supernatural energy that suspended the force of gravity, preventing the water from flowing on both sides until he passed. “Now when the sons of the prophets who were from Jericho saw him, they said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” …” ‭‭(II Kings‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬).
The anointing produces results with little or no noise. When you encounter the anointing or a carrier of the anointing, God’s mighty power tames or destroys the forces preventing you from crossing over to your next level so you can walk across easily. It works like oil or grease applied to a stiff joint or bottle lid to remove friction and to make it easy to move or loose. It is a supernatural lubricant poured upon a person to make his or her work smooth, easy, flowing, without friction or struggles. Endless struggles, empty noises and a lot of heat generated by friction and force are indicators of its deficiency. The anointing breaks every satanic resistance to your breakthrough and gives you stress-free results (Isaiah‬ ‭10‬:‭27‬).
Do you constantly experience hardships in your life and works, especially after doing all that is needful? Do you work like elephants and reap like ants? Do you notice a negative pattern of hardships in your family? You need to ask for a fresh anointing to destroy that satanic embargo. Now, receive the anointing in Jesus name. ‭‭

Prayer points
1. By the anointing, let every stiffness, friction and hardships in my life be removed now in Jesus’ name.
2. I destroy every yoke, embargo and resistance against my progress by the anointing in Jesus’ name.

Today’s declarations
1. The anointing is the supernatural lubricant that removes rust, frictions and stiffness from my life.
2. By the anointing I override contrary forces to achieve and maintain life progress.
