THE ARMOUR OF PRAYER 4

THE ARMOUR OF PRAYER 4

Text: 2 Corinthians 2:14
Memory verse:
”Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle—“
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭144‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Everyone who desires to be successful in warfare goes for training. God is our trainer in spiritual warfare and the word of God is our training manual. Today, as part of the training, let’s put into practice what we have learnt about the armour of God. Go through these prayer points over and over until they begin to flow from your innermost being.

1. Father, I thank you for raising me up to sit with Christ in the heavenly places, far above satan and his demons and for equipping me with the armour I need to triumph in every spiritual battle.
2. Thank You for strengthening me with might in my inner man by Your Spirit. I declare that I am strong, not in myself but in the Lord and in the power of His might.
3. I put on the whole armour of God and I stand against all the lies of the devil to outsmart me.
4. I put on the belt of truth and I believe and accept Your word as truth. Let Your truth rule my heart, my mind and words. Help me to always walk in the truth and protect me by the truth from every deception.
5. I put on the breastplate of righteousness and having the gift of righteousness I receive grace to daily pursue righteousness over fleshy desires. Help me to walk in righteousness as you have made me righteous.
6. I wear my gospel shoes, and I refuse to stand on any sinking ground but only on the firm foundation that is in Christ. I receive God’s grace to be ready at all times to preach the gospel. Let the peace I have with You reflect in the peace within me and the peace with others. Help me to reflect the Gospel in my words and in my actions, so I may shine and others will be drawn to know You.
7. I take up my shied of faith as I believe and declare that You are faithful to keep Your promises. I rebuke the spirit of doubt, fear, or anxiety in any form. With my shield of faith, I extinguish every fiery darts and arrows thrown at me, family, or works. I walk in faith and not by sight.
8. I put on my helmet of salvation. I believe and confess that Jesus became the sacrifice for my sin. I am saved by faith through grace and I will never doubt my salvation. Thank You for sealing me with the Holy Spirit.
9. Father, I daily take the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word. Help me to study, meditate and memorize it so that Your word will not depart from my mouth. Let not Your word from my mouth return to You empty but let it produce results. God’s word is sharper than any two edged sword and I release it against the camp of the adversaries. With the sword in my mouth, I prevail against the Goliath.
10. I put on the armour of God, and I enter into partnership with God through prayer. I receive supernatural help and insight into God’s plans and the schemes of the devil. I refuse to give up in the place of prayer but to always be in constant communication with God. With alertness and perseverance in prayer, I receive my answer and I declare my all-round victory in Jesus’ name.

Today’s declarations
1. I engage in spiritual warfare by first cross checking to ensure that my armours are complete and in place.
2. Spiritual warfare is a way of enforcing the victory that Jesus has won for us and not a new battle
