Text: Exod 14:10-22

Miracles also take place when God uses one force to counter another one. When lawyers argue in court, they find a stronger point that they can use to counter and overturn the point of the opposition. Likewise, you need a stronger person to pull a drowning person out of the water. Apart from the weight of the drowning person, pulling up from the water requires overpowering the gravitational force that is pulling the person downward.
One of the most fascinating and spectacular miracles in the scriptures is the dividing of the Red Sea. According to our text, the children of Israel who were fleeing from Egypt suddenly found themselves caged. The Red Sea was in their front. The impassable mountain and the fort of the Philistines were also by their sides, and behind them were Pharaoh, his armies, and chariots.
With the same rod he used to bring mighty signs in Egypt, God commanded Moses to raise it up over the Sea to bring divine intervention in the dead end. God stepped in by bringing a stronger force, the east wind, to counter the gravitational force that made the water flow downwards. “Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.” ‭‭(Exo‬ ‭14‬:‭21‬)‬‬.
Out of the four winds mentioned in the scriptures, the east wind is the most frequently mentioned and is referred to as the strongest of the four winds ( Psa 48:7).
The east wind blew on the water throughout the night until the water stood up like a pillar, a path was created, and the sea bed became dry. This is also a supernatural force. An emblem of the Holy Spirit in the scriptures is the wind (Ezek 37:9-14; John 3:8; Acts 2:2). The power of the Holy Spirit overcame the gravitational force and forced the water back to create a way. The wind didn’t just do a half job, leaving the people to get stuck in the waterbed mud but dried it up. Hallelujah!
Friends, God is set to counter the forces against your progress and to create a way for you where there seems to be no way. Believe God for a miracle at this season. Hallelujah!

1. Father, please step into my present stagnation to make a way for me in Jesus’ name.
2. Father, please, show up in my situation urgently and give me a miracle in Jesus’ name.
