Text: Esther 4:11-17; 5:1-3
Memory verse:
“The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.”
Proverbs 21:1 NKJV
We have seen that God performs miracles by temporarily suspending the law of nature to establish His desired result in the life of a person. He suspends the normal order, behaviour, or pattern in the process. We have also seen that miracles also take place when God uses one force to counter another. The stronger force neutralizes the effect of the other.
One of our daughters in diaspora unknowingly lost her biometric documents. Her lawyer was angry with her and told her that there was nothing he could do about it, as she can’t reapply again and that no one can visit the immigration office without being invited and without the biometric documents. However, acting in faith, she decided to go. As she got to the street, while trying to inquire of the exact location of the office from an old man on the street, the man reiterated the lawyer’s words that no one visits there without an invitation. This sister refused to fear and still went ahead. As she got there, to her surprise, from the armed security to the immigration officers that she met, everyone warmly received her as if they had been waiting for her. No one challenged her on why she was there without an invite. Rather, the officers gave her a seat while they did the unusual to reprint the biometric slip for her. They offered her coffee and even asked if they could heat up the room for her comfort! With that level of favour, she thought she was dreaming! Truly God rules in the hearts of kings and turns it wherever He wills (Prov 21:1). As she was about to leave, they reminded her that she had one month more to return for the interview for her work authorization and that she should maximize the time. That is the time she would need the biometric slip.
Miraculously again, a few days later, she received her work authorization letter without attending an interview! How? A miracle! Even her lawyer was awe-struck and said it has never happened. When God decides to do something, what law or rule can stop Him? Hallelujah!
Friends, miracles still happen. Cling in faith to the God of miracles during this season, and He will suspend nature and human laws to do something new in your life. Amen!
Prayer points
1. Father, please do the impossible in my life during this season in Jesus’ name.
2. I refuse and cancel any negative words sent to shut me out of my miracles in Jesus’ name.
Today’s declarations
1. I believe in the God of miracles, so there is no impossibility in my vocabulary.
2. I would rather beg God than beg man because God controls the thoughts, words, and actions of man.
