Text: Luke 7:11-15

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭2‬ NKJV

In the judicial system, the Supreme Court is the apex court and the final court on earth. The decisions of the Supreme Court are to be complied with and not contested. Even if the High Court and the Court of Appeal have agreed in their judgment, the Supreme Court can set aside the judgment of these lower courts.
However, there is a Supreme Judge who rules in heaven and on earth. His authority is higher than any earthly judge. His judgment is final. He can overrule and upturn any human or satanic decision.
“It is He who reduces dignitaries to nothing, Who makes the judges (rulers) of the earth meaningless (useless)” (Isa 40:23 AMP).
God is not only supreme, but His laws are also superior to other laws. Just like the Supreme Court, God can also overrule and set aside any judgment to achieve His desire.
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” ‭‭(Rom‬ ‭8‬:‭2‬)‬‬.
The law of God is called “the Spirit of life” while the law of the flesh is called “the law of sin and death”. The law of sin and death causes degeneration and weakness of the body until it finally brings death. According to our text, the devil used this law to afflict the son of the widow of Nain until his life was cut short prematurely. However, the Supreme God used a superior law, the law of the Spirit of life, also called, the law of the Resurrection and Life to overrule the judgment of death and he was raised from the dead.
Likewise, as one grows older, the organs, bones, and parts of the body follow the natural aging process. Sickness and disease are commonly associated with aging as a natural pattern. However, the law of the Spirit of life halts this negative trend and reverses the degeneration of the cells of the body to make you age gracefully with renewed strength and health, like Moses.
Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.” (Deut 34:7).
At age 120, his eyesight was still sharp and clear; he was still strong, and his skin didn’t wrinkle!
Friends, when the law of degeneration is sacked, your strength will be renewed like the eagles. Your health and aging will no longer follow the common pattern. You will be strong, fresh, flourishing, active, and productive as you age (Psa 92:14; Isa 40:30-31).
Believe God for a miracle today.

Prayer points
1. Father, please overrule any law working against my wellbeing and give me a miracle in this season in Jesus’ name.
2. Let the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus end now the degeneration of my body cells in Jesus’ name.

1. My life and health don’t follow the common pattern because I am under a superior law.
2. By the law of the Spirit of life working in me, I get stronger, fresher, flourished, active, and more productive as I age.
