THE MANIFESTATION OF SONS

THE MANIFESTATION OF SONS

Text: Jeremiah 17:5-8
Memory:
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God has not called us to live the common, ordinary or the usual life but the supernatural and enviable life. We are not called to be subject to the same power that controls the people of the world but to rule over them. We are not called to be controlled by the natural laws but a higher law, the supernatural laws.
Look at this: “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.” (‭‭I John‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬-‭19). This means, while others may be under the dominion of the devil, you are not. Glory!
Look at this again. “A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.”
‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭7‬). I like this!
Friends, God has called you to a life of distinction. You are called to stand out. He has called you to a life of wonder. What holds others down shouldn’t hold you down. You are not called to sink in the economic depression of our times. “They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.” ‭‭(Psa‬ ‭37‬:‭19).
“You shall laugh at destruction and famine…” ‭‭(Job‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬).
Never allow the challenging times to make you lose hope in God’s word. Don’t give up faith in God and His ability to cause abundance in the midst of scarcity. Don’t allow the world to fit you into its own mould of thinking. It’s so easy to think like them, believe what they believe and to say what they say at difficult times like these. Yes, it is, but you must not forget your identity and your calling. God hasn’t called you to a life of shame and disgrace but glory and virtue. His purpose is not poverty and penury but prosperity and plenty. Hallelujah!
Our text today gives the contrast between those who trust in the Lord and those who trust in man. While those who trust in the Lord flourish, those who have confidence in the flesh and whose hearts depart from the Lord, simply fade away.
Friends, the best time to appreciate light is the time of darkness. Now and more than ever, God wants to showcase His sons in these difficult and dark times. As light breaks out of darkness, I see you breaking forth from all sides. You will not be small. You will not be few. It’s your season of manifestation. Amen.

Prayer points
1. Father, I receive Your word with thanksgiving and I declare that it is my season of manifestation in Jesus name.
2. Father, let me never fade away or reduce during these difficult times but let me flourish and break forth from all sides in Jesus name.

Today’s declarations
1. To the world, this is a season of dryness and obscurity but to me, it is my season of abundance and manifestation.
2. I don’t allow the challenging times to make me give up faith in God’s ability or lose hope in His word but I daily work in faith
