Text: 2 Chronicles 13:1-15
Memory verse:
”Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph!“

There are different strategies of warfare. Our God, as the Lord of the angels armies and the man of war, has more than enough strategies ‭‭(Exod‬ ‭15‬:‭3‬).
One of such is the shout of victory.
There are different types of shouts, such as the shout of defeat, fear, of sorrow or of despair. But believers are to give the shout of victory (‭‭Psa‬ ‭47‬:‭1‬). This is the shout of faith because you don’t wait to see the physical manifestation of victory or to even have a challenge before you shout. You don’t look at the size of your challenge before you shout. This is the kind of shout you give at the beginning, as you wake up in the morning, as you begin a journey or a project. It is the kind that you give when everything seems impossible; when your case is hopeless; or when there is no escape route in view.
That was the strategy that God gave to Israel as they faced Jericho in battle (Josh 6:5). The gate of Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel (Josh 6:1). It is said that Jericho had walls that were thick enough to run chariots on the top. It was a fortified city and the only way the Israelites were going to defeat it was through a miracle. ”So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout that the wall fell down flat. …“ ‭‭(Josh‬ ‭6‬:‭20‬).
Also, in our text today, while Judah was still warming up for the battle, unknown to them that Israel had surrounded them. In the midst of that siege, they shouted and the battle turned in their favour. ”Then the men of Judah gave a shout; and as the men of Judah shouted, it happened that God struck Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.“ ‭‭(II Chro‬ ‭13‬:‭15‬).
Always use this warfare strategy. Let there be shouts of victory in your midst. I see the impossible, mighty and ancient walls crumble before you and you entering into your inheritance in Christ. I see your enemies discomfited. All unforeseen troubles planning to suddenly mess you up will be frustrated. There is no victory without a shout. Your victory in June can depend on that shout. By faith, give your loudest shout of victory now. Halleluuuuuuuuuuujah!
