Text: 1 Chronicles 29:10-14

There is nothing in life that does not have a counterfeit. Satan is the source of all counterfeits. “And no wonder, since satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. “ (2 Cor 11:14 AMP).
He has no power to create any blessings. He is not capable of creating anything “ex nihilo,” that is, from nothing, as God can. He only steals and manipulates things that already exist, which God created. He deceived the first man, Adam, and stole all his blessings. He now lures people into slavery and his worship by giving them from the stolen blessings. He attempted to deceive Jesus likewise, but he failed and was disappointed. So where the first Adam failed, the second Adam succeeded in it. This is what satan promised to offer Jesus if He had worshipped him, “I will give you all this power and all this wealth,” the Devil told him. “It has all been handed over to me, and I can give it to anyone I choose” (Luke 4;6 GNT).
Did you notice this part, “It has all been handed over to me..”? That is it. It wasn’t his originally. It was handed over to him through deception.
Now, satan gives to all who worship him; all his faithful servants!
“All this will be yours, then, if you worship me.” (Luke 4:7 GNT).
Satan’s ultimate objective is to work against God and His plans and to receive the worship of man through deception.
Did you also notice that Jesus didn’t dispute satan’s claim, that all has been handed over to him, and that he can give it to whoever he chooses? Rather, He pointed the true source of blessings to him, that is God, and Him only should be worshipped and served (Job 36:11).
All powers are of God, and satan has no power of his own but only steals and manipulates the power of God. “God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.“ ‭‭(Psa‬ ‭62‬:‭11‬). Jesus said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.“ ‭‭(Matt‬ ‭28‬:‭18‬).
What about wealth and riches? David said, ”Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all.“ (‭‭I Chro‬ ‭29‬:‭12‬).
Friends, why will you go for counterfeit if you can have the original? Why will you buy stolen goods when you have access to the true owner? As a believer, you have access to the true source of power, authority, wealth, riches, greatness, strength, and all blessings.

Prayer points
1. Father, as I worship, obey, and serve You, mark me out with Your blessings, in Jesus’ name.
2. Father, deliver me from satanic deception to seek blessings from other sources in Jesus’ name.

Today’s declarations
1. If satan, the rogue, gives to his servants, the real Owner will give much more to His worshippers.
2. Blessing requiring me to violate God’s words or worship other gods before having it is of satan.
