UNTHINKABLE HELPERS

UNTHINKABLE HELPERS

Text: 1 Kings 17:1-6
Memory Verse:
“Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, And the sons of the foreigner shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

‭‭One of our friends, who is an Architect, recently shared an awesome testimony with us of how God provided for him and fast forwarded him in his career beyond his wildest imagination. A man had approached him, requesting that his company should handle his building project. As a fervent believer, he wasn’t comfortable accepting that offer, based on the principles of His faith. He couldn’t imagine himself working for such a morally depraved individual as such. After some days of being reluctant, he sensed a leading of the Holy Spirit to accept the job. On completion, this client was so impressed with his work that, having fully paid him, he determined that he would announce him everywhere. Thus, he went further to introduce him to other organizations and places, where he never imagined he could reach. This did not only boost his financial status but his professional status, as he received one of the most prestigious professional awards.
This client stood amazed at his wisdom and expertise and asked how he did it. The Architect replied, “Jesus built it”. This eventually provided an opportunity to share the gospel of light with him.
Friends, God can meet your needs in the most unlikely and unthinkable ways. Yes, God can’t be limited but we often limit ourselves in our thinking and our belief.
In our text today, God sustained Elijah through ravens, the most unthinkable birds! Ravens are unclean birds and scavengers, which the Israelites were forbidden to eat. Probably, Elijah reacted like Peter when he was commanded to kill and eat unclean animals! Ravens don’t sow, reap or have barns, yet God feeds them (Luke 12:24). God provided for the ravens, like He provided a lamb for Abraham and then directed the ravens to deliver them. We serve a supernatural God.
God can follow uncommon routes to reach you at this season. Yes, God can use the common channels like your siblings, parents, spouse or network of friends but don’t put your trust on them nor close the door against strange helpers. You may not be used to that way, but I hear Him saying, ‘My ways are not your ways’. He will connect you to divine network of helpers without human networking! Hallelujah!

Prayer points
1. Father, please, let me never miss my God-sent helpers in this season in Jesus name.
2. Father, I renounce any confidence in the flesh and I ask that You connect me to divine network of helpers in Jesus name.

Today’s declarations
1. I don’t know how but I know God will always provide my needs through divine network of helpers.
2. Strangers and the most unthinkable people will supply my needs and sustain me throughout this season
