Text: Luke 18:24-30

II Corinthians 9:8 NKJV
Charles Spurgeon once quipped, “It is beyond the realm of possibilities that one has the ability to outgive God.” That is just a principle that stands forever. No one can make a debtor out of God. If you use a teaspoon to measure for God, He measures back to you with a tablespoon.
Wondering if they had not given and sacrificed in vain for God, Peter asked from Jesus what would come back to them as a reward. The Lord responded, “and you won’t regret it. No one who has sacrificed home, spouse, brothers and sisters, parents, children—whatever—will lose out. It will all come back multiplied many times over in your lifetime. And then the bonus of eternal life!”. (Luke 18:29-30 MSG). I like that. “…It will all come back multiplied many times over in your lifetime.” Indeed, our God guarantees a greater comeback for everything you give to Him. He won’t give just as you have given Him. He will add the bonus of eternal life. Hallelujah!
Some years ago, in the early years of our ministry, I had a reason to ask a similar question. As if we had lost all that He had helped us to labour for in about ten years, I thought in my heart, “Is this how God will reward?” No, God gives much more and not less than you have given. You can’t lose out with Him. The word of the man of God to Amaziah, the king of Judah, to forget the one hundred talents that he had given to the king of Israel also answered my question…“The Lord is able to give you much more than this.”“ (II Chro 25:9). Reflecting on the past, we can truly say that this word has found expression in our lives and ministry. He has given much more than we thought we lost. God always gives back much more. Hallelujah! You can’t outgive God. Paul said, “And God is able to give you more than you need, so that you will always have all you need for yourselves and more than enough for every good cause.” (2 Cor 9:8 GNT). Pay attention to this again. He has the ability to “give more than you need” and “to have more than enough for every good cause”. He is the much-more-than-enough God! Glory!
Friends, no one can give you greater returns on your investment than God. None can pay better dividends. Your shares with Him can never lose value. Invest in kingdom projects today and secure your future.

1. Father, please, make me a wise investor who takes advantage of opportunities for kingdom investment in Jesus’ name.
2. I hold into captivity every human reasoning opposing God’s word in my mind and keeping me in lack, in Jesus’ name.
