Topic: Acceptable Praise
Text: Psalm 19:1-3
In every language, there is a praise offered to God. Of all the languages in the world, there is a language that is common to all. John 4:24. The sound that is acceptable in heaven is the one done in spirit and in truth.
How to worship God in spirit and in truth:
– God is more interested in your life than the music and the melody. Romans 12:1-3. You need to present yourself as a living sacrifice. Worship is beyond what you do in the Church.
– Be filled with the Spirit of God. If the Spirit of God does not dwell in you, it is impossible for you to know how to worship Him. Ephesians 5:18. It is the Spirit of God that propels you to sing and dance to God.
– Praise God with understanding. Psalm 47:6-7. You praise God for He deserves it. You praise God not by how you feel but by how He wants it.
Whatever praise we offer on earth is only a rehearsal of what we will don in heaven. Will you be there? Does your life bring flavour to God?
Make a decision to follow Jesus to the end, don’t let your praises end on earth. May the grace be bestowed to you in Jesus’Name.
