Topic: Manifestation of Sons
Text: Genesis 1:26-28, Romans 8:19-22
Manifestation means revealing/ unveiling what has not been known.
What God expects from us:
-God is seeking for sons and not servants. Genesis 1:26. Image talks about identity and likeness talks about expression. When God created you, He created you to look and act like Him.
– Jesus became the pattern-son of God after Adam failed. Luke 3:38. Jesus came as the last Adam but not an amendment of the old Adam. 1 Corinthians 15:45. Where Adam failed in obeying God, Jesus succeeded and lived as the perfect Son of God. John 14:9. Perfect obedience, perfect representation and perfect sonship. Jesus showed us how we should conduct our lives if we want to be called His son.
-Salvation/redemption is not an end in itself but a means to an end. Jesus restores sonship. Redemption is raising sins who will carry the nature of God and represent Him on earth. John 1:12, Galatians 4:4-9. Salvation restores sonship and dominion. Hebrews 2:10. Jesus came as a man but was revealed as a Son. Redemption is not just forgiveness, it is the restoration of sonship.
-Sons manifest by revelation not by titles, qualifications or announcement. 1 John 3:2. Manifestation is who we are when we are made visible. The more you have Him in you, the more He will reveal the Father to the world through you. Maturity brings about manifestation but immaturity hides it. Galatians 4:1. Immaturity will not make your glory to be revealed. Identity precedes manifestation; you need to be a son before you can manifestation.
Sonship is a present reality but manifestation is progressive. We don’t manifest to be a son, we become a son to manifest. If you want to manifest, be committed to growth. Manifestation is seen through your lifestyle.
Obedience, faithfulness and Christ-like living will hasten your manifestation. Living doubles lives will hinder your manifestation.
-God’s glory is revealed in manifested sons. Your generation is waiting for you to manifest.
– Soul winning is the fruit of manifested son. Luke 19:10. Sons share the burden of the Father. Sons live with assignment/purpose/mission. The Father is revealed when sons act like Him.
A Church that is not soul- winning conscious is not manifesting. Your manifestation is tied to your readiness to share the Father’s burden.
Prayers:
Lord, put the burden for souls in my heart.
Father, I refuse to be a child, help me to manifest in Jesus’Name
