Topic: The wonders of the Blood of Jesus

Message
Pre-message prayer, praise and worship. Father, we thank you. Praise song. That is the reason why we say: ‘Oloore’. The Bible says he has gifted us with everything beautiful. With our sustenance, yet with His love. James 1: 17. Traditional worship song. Eshe Oloore. Eshe Baba o. Eshe Oloore. Awa dupe Baba. Life itself is a gift. He has given us life. That is why we are here. Everybody who has life lift your voice and sing! Can you join your hands together and celebrate Him. Celebrate Him for his goodness, for His kindness. Don’t be tired. Celebrate Him. Thank You Lord Jessus. Hallelujah! The Book of John 19, we read two verses 33 to 35. Shall we go? Take your Bible. When last did you read your Bible? Take your Bible and says after me: Pre-Sermon declaration. A big Amen? Turn to a brother or sister around you. Say to them: I celebrate you as a gift of God to me. It is wonderful to be in Church. It is wonderful to be in the House of the Lord. If you can’t be happy in the House of God; where else will you be happy? These are your brethren. You are ought to be happy around them. Tell the person beside you: Even though we are not physically aligned – even though we are not biologically born from the same father and mother, you are my brother or sister. Friends, so many people of God in the church only have mental accent of God’s words. We should learn to live God’s words. Hallelujah! Amen! Tell the person beside you: Even if you don’t like my face; you are my brother or sister. I am going to heaven; therefore, I love you. Song of brotherhood. Say after me: I will live in love, because i am heaven-bound. I will not go to hell. My inheritance is not in hell. A big Amen? About a few weeks ago; we had the vacation bible school. One of the workers approached me and says you promised to pray for us. We want ton thank God for you – all the workers. I have raised up my prayer of thanksgiving to God on your behalf. Our children will be great; they will not be ordinary. They will serve God in their generation. The greatest joy that a parent can have is to have the children being in God and serving God. The parent’s heart will be at rest wherever he or she is. The greatest investment you can have as a parent is to invest in the salvation of the child. When you have grown old and the children has become adult; you will have peace in your heart. This is the moment of window of opportunity. A time is coming that you can dictate to them what to do; you will only be able to advise them by then – because they have grown to become adult. Therefore, I challenge you as parents – pleae pay more priority toward the spiritual life of these children. I am going to do a recap of the Blood of Jesus – The wonders of the Blood of Jesus – before we pray. Hallelujah!
Our God cannot be caught aware. He has a great plan. God is a great strategist. He has perfected the work of salvation through the blood. The scripture says, under normal situation; the Jews and the chief priest and all who persecuted Jesus were all Jews – so, they are not suppose to touch any dead thing since the day was already approaching Sabbath. And they must not touch the dead or anything unclean. So, they came to cross to make sure that those who were crucified are already dead. John 19: 32-33. It fulfilled the prophecy in the book of Psalm 34: 20 – He guard all the bones, not one of them is broken. Listen to this, I told you. God is a great strategist and when he wants to fulfill his goal – He write a script of what will happen in Heaven. Every point of the script is going to fulfill the script. Everyone is meant to fulfill the script, even the enemies of that script. The enemies are unwilling actors. Genesis 50: 20. Sometimes, when some people think they are undoing you; they are only being used as instrument to take you to your place of destiny. Fir whatever reason, maybe out of anger – or frustration, took out his word and pierce his side – and the prophecy was fulfilled. History and forensic studies show to us that, under normal circumstances, Christ should have died even before getting to the cross after receiving that 39 strokes of lashes weaved in thorns. But Christ got to the cross and fulfill the purpose. May Gid’s purpose for your life be fulfilled in Jesus name. May your enemies become the unwilling actor in helping fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.
Seven wonders of the Blood
- It is a Blood of our forgiveness. Romans 3: 24-25. The blood of Jesus Christ gives justification. None of your sin is counted for you any longer. Listen to this. One thing that the blood of Jesus does for us is that it gives us forgiveness. Matthew 26: 28. Believe it and receive it by faith. You only need to receive it by faith. Isaiah 43: 25. Believe it that you have been forgiven. Place your left hand on your chest and declare it after me: I believe it that I have been forgiven. The blood of Jesus has washed me clean.
- It is a blood of our redemption. Redemption means to buy back. The blood of our redemption. It also means to pay one’s debt. How did it buy back? I Corinthians 6: 20. You were bought at a price. I was bought at a price. Satan, you don’t have right over me any longer. The word “redemption” is also used in business, military, and sporting activity. It means completing a race. It means being bought back from being a prisoner of war. I Peter 1: 18-19. Tell your neighbour – You were not redeemed with money, dollars or pound sterling – all these are corruptible things. You were redeemed with the blood of Jesus Christ. You are too precious in the sight if God to be done anyhow because you have been bought at a precious price. Isaiah 43: 4. You are too precious to be treated anyhow. Nobody can buy the price tag over your life. You have been bought at the price of our blood of Jesus.
- The blood of our access. Pay attention to the word. People do not have access to the holy of holies in the ancient times. Even the high priest only enters the holy of holies once a year with a rope tied to his leg as an insurance in case he dies while there. But the blood of Jesus Christ has made access to the holiest possible with confidence. Hebrews 10: 19. Now we have confidence to enter into His presence through the blood.
- The blood that speaks for us. It is the speaking blood. It speaks justification. It speaks forgiveness. It speaks favour for me. The blood of Jesus is our advocate which stands to speak on our behalf. Hebrews 12: 24. The blood of Jesus speaks for us! There are different voices on the earth. There are human voices that speaks slander, gossips etc. against you. There are also voices that speaks condemnation against you most times and discourage you to pray. We also have demonic voices. We call these voices the accuser of the brethren. You can silence all these voices with the voice of the blood. The blood of Jesus speaks mercy concerning us. It is the blood that speaks.
- The blood of our distinction. It demarcates between us and the wicked. That is why we keep on saying: I cover myself with the blood of Jesus. The blood is the blood of distinction on you. Exodus 11: 7. The fact is that, friends, you may not see it but it is upon you.
- The blood of our defense. It not only distinguishes us but also defends us. Destruction, evil etc. Comes and jumps over you. The blood of Jesus gives us the covenant of divine exception. Exodus 12: 13
- The blood of our victory. Revelation 12: 11. Friends, listen to this. There are physical weapons that you can see – guns etc. But there are also spiritual weapons. Satan bows to the power of the blood. The blood of our victory. You know we are no longer strangers or foreigners. We can enter into His presence with the blood. It is a blood of wonders.
My faith is not futile because I can enter boldly into the presence of God with the blood of Jesus Christ. The covenant of divine exception is upon me through the blood of Jesus. Rise up on your feet and thank Him for the Blood!
